Earlier this week we needed to get some food, not a lot, just basic items like milk and eggs. After we were done, we stopped in at the base exchange (sort of like Walmart but on base). We always check out if anything is on sale. When the winter started last year, I picked up brand name shirts for under $5, and shorts for the same price. These were on sale because of the season, you don’t need shorts for the winter in NYC. So Ana goes shopping for a new outfit.
Ana is growing fast so we checked out clothing for her. There were a couple of dresses on sale for around $7 that we picked up. But I found this outfit that I loved. Bryna said no it wasn’t on sale. Bryan went to look for more clothing for Ana, so I picked up the outfit and went to a scanner to check the price. My hope was it was on sale but not marked correctly.
After checking the price, I found it was not on sale, but I really wanted to get it. The price was only $20, which was the jacket and dress combined. Bryna came back over to me and saw the outfit in my hand after she put is back on the rack. The good thing is I didn’t have to talk Bryna into buying the outfit. All she said is “I see you really want to get it for Ana.
Asking Ana if she like it, she said yes please daddy, so how could I say no. Of course, I ended up buying the outfit for Ana. Today she tried it on and we both took some pictures of her. She loves to dress up and pose for photos.
