Now that the winter is starting to wind down, we are thinking about how much fun we had outside last year. We tried to grill out at least once a week, and Ana usually had fun in a swimming pool, running around picking flowers, or just dancing. This day Ana was a dancing daddy’s girl.
I was grilling chicken on the grill, and Ana was helping. However, as soon as Bryna turned on the music it was time to dance. Ana will not pass up and opportunity to dance and today was no exception. Ana grabbed my hand and wanted me to dance with her, and off we went to dance. After several songs I was ready to eat.
Even today when there is a song on TV, or her phone Ana will jump up and dance. If she has heard it before she will also sing along. We can also say Ana let’s dance and make up some silly words. She will dance and sing the silly song with up.
After we danced for a while it was time to eat. Even if I was busy dancing, I did keep an eye on the chicken. Nothing burned and it came out great. Afterwards, is was time to just sit back and relax. We feel lucky that there is room to barbeque outside of our house and relax with the green soccer fields right next to us. Normal summer the fields can be busy, but this year it was very quiet.
